Android 11 is out in beta! That means that it is time to start including some of the features. With this release, Pulse will allow devices on Android 11 to use the new "bubble" notification system.
In the notification section of settings, there is a new preference: hide message content.
When enabled, the content of the new message will not be displayed within the notification - only the conversation title. This preference is for those people that want a bit more privacy out of their notifications!
To hide the conversation title along with the message content, you can make the conversation private, as has always been available.

Pulse is helping you fight spam!
• The app now has an option (in the Advanced Features menu), for how you want to handle messages that come from a phone number that is not in your contact list. You can choose to mute the conversation or just block it completely!
• If you receive a group message full of spam, you can now blacklist all of the participants in that conversation with one click!

- NEW: Option to hide the date-categories on the conversation list, in favor of a more traditional list of conversations.

Pulse can now suggest "Smart Replies" based on the context of your conversation!
- Smart Reply suggestions show up within any conversation, if there are relevant suggestions.
- You can set up Smart Replies to show up within your notifications, through the "Notification Actions" setting, to quickly send replies to your contacts.
Please note: currently, smart replies are limited to English only.

- Indicator for messages that fail to send, on the conversation list
- Android can speak messages to you, from the long click menu on any message
- When using the multi-select on the conversation list and message list, there is a "select all" option
